future net

does any body know about the future net.
some say that the future computers will be of pen size which uses I.R. r@y$ and thumb drives are connected to systems using I.R. through a virtual connection if u know more than this please inform i would love to know this

I dont like that idea. I love my laptop and I will continiue to keep it even if this this does blow up. Im all for development but something are better left alone.
