Grrr...I need to vent. I've always enjoyed going into Best Buy. I have bought several high priced items there and was even planning on purchasing my next computer there in the next couple of months. I went in yesterday to look around and price the computers. I was done shopping and was thirsty and decided to purchase a soda as I was leaving. There were several people in line, but I thought it would move quickly. I was wrong. It took ten minutes to get to the front of the line. I didn't want to get out of line because I had already waited so long. So I finally get to the front after ten minutes. Even though it was a long wait, I was not upset yet, because I expect a wait during this time of the year. The cashier greeted me and then informed me if I was paying cash he could not help me. His was a credit only line. I said I did not see a sign and he said there was not one posted. He then told me I would have to get into the BACK of another line. I informed him I would not be waiting another ten minutes just to purchase a soda and I should be allowed in front of another line. Best Buy refused and I left without buying the soda. It really didn't hurt them at all for me not to purchase the soda, but now I definately will not consider making any more large purchases there because of their rude treatment. What do you think. Am I being upset for no good reason?

No, I'd be pissed off too. It's not like you had a cart full of stuff. Would it really have killed soemone to let you go to purchase one thing? Some people are stupid!! And there should be a sign posted for that type of thing. That's dumb that he couldn't accept cash! Next time I'll give you one of my sodas and you can give me the cash. lol

I agree. It was their error for not posting the sign saying credit only. They should have made it right. They just didn't care about my business because it was only a soda.

I don't blame you. If there was a rule it should have been clearly posted for all to see. They could have helped you, or maybe sent you over to customer service to pay. I think that was very rude! I've heard lots of horror stories about BestBuy's customer service.

I agree. After waiting ten minutes to begin with, they should have found a way to assist me with requiring me to wait another ten minutes. I bet if I had a $3000 TV I was trying to buy they would have helped me.
