Has anyone had any success with selling on Ebay or Etsy? I have sold a few things on Ebay in the past, and now I found Etsy, which is for handcrafted items. I haven't sold anything on Etsy yet and was wondering if anyone here has and how you are doing with your sales.

I have sold on both Ebay and Etsy. I prefer Etsy, because most of what I want to sell is handcrafted stuff, and that does a whole lot better on Etsy. I joined in late November or early December, and I have had at least a couple of sales every month since December.

Thanks for responding. I still need to get myself set up through Etsy. I've heard wonderful things about it. I also have lots of handcrafted items, and possibly they would sell better at Etsy. Thanks again

I have bought and sold on ebay. Some things are successful some things aren't. If you have handcrafted items, I would say sell in the storefront and not the auction. Then you are guaranteed a price you want. I have never sold on etsy but I have bought some things from Gudonya. I had a successful experience.

I have sold some on ebay, but haven't been too successful with handcrafted items, too much competition. What is a storefront? I haven't heard of Gudonya either, what is that? Can you sell on Gudonya and is that a storefront? Thanks for the response!

I am wanting to start selling on ebay but have to get a debit card first from my bank. I have never heard of Etsy before today what is it? and what is the location of it? I do make things myself and I am interested in checking this out. I never knew they were a place to sell handcrafted items. Well, good day.

The link is www.etsy.com. I haven't bought or sold anything on this site. I read that it is for handcrafted items only. I make candy wrappers, crochet, and make other items as well. I did see someone that post in my candy wrapper forum and she has sold some items on this site. Check it out, let me know what you think... Thanks for responding.!

It is Etsy.com and I believe you can only sell handcrafted items, so if you make things such as jewelry, cards, etc you can sell them there. I haven't signed up to sell anything yet, but I may try and see how it is. I've listed handcrafted items in Ebay, but there is a lot of competition there. Check it out and let me know what you think. Thanks for the response!
