Racial Quotas in Schools

With the Supreme Court upholding a decision allowing certain schools in Hawaii to deny admission based on their race without running afoul of a civil rights law, what do you think? Is it right to say that only a particular group of people can go to a certain school because they've been subjected to discrimination in the past? Like because of things like slavery, or colonization?
