Try this out : Hamburger Steak with Gravy INGREDIENTS: 2 1/2 pounds lean ground beef 1/4 cup chopped celery 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt 1 tsp. black pepper 1/2 cup finely chopped onion 1/4 cup finely chopped green pepper 2 eggs Dash of Worcestershire sauce Flour or meal 2 cans mushroom soup PREPARATION: Preheat oven 350°. Mix beef, pepper, celery, green pepper, onion, garlic salt, eggs, and Worcestershire sauce. Form into patties; roll in flour or meal. Place hamburg steaks in 9x13x2-inch baking dish and pour mushroom soup over the steaks. Bake about 1 hour, until thoroughly cooked. Makes 6 to 8 servings.

Easy Ground Beef Stroganoff SUBMITTED BY: Luann Charity "Easy and delicious stroganoff recipe using ground beef instead of beef cubes. You can also cook this in a slow cooker. Serve over hot buttered noodles, add a loaf of bread, and you have a great meal. Wonderful on those cold, winter nights." INGREDIENTS 2 pounds ground beef 2 onions, chopped 1 clove garlic, minced 1 (4.5 ounce) can mushrooms, drained 2 teaspoons salt 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper 2 cups hot water 6 cubes beef bouillon 4 tablespoons tomato paste 1 1/2 cups water 4 tablespoons all-purpose flour DIRECTIONS Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef, add onions, garlic, and mushrooms; saute until onion is golden brown. Season with salt and black pepper. Stir 2 cups hot water, bouillon cubes, and tomato paste into meat mixture. Stir together 1 1/2 cups cold water and flour; stir into pan. Reduce heat to low, and simmer for 1 hour. INGREDIENTS 1 pound ground beef 1 (3 ounce) package Oriental flavored ramen noodles 1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes 1 (10 ounce) can whole kernel corn DIRECTIONS Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Crumble in the ground beef, and cook until no longer pink, stirring frequently. Drain off grease. Stir in the flavor packet from the noodles, tomatoes, and corn (with their juices). Break up the noodles slightly, and add them to the skillet. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 10 minutes, or until noodles are tender. Stir occasionally to break up any clumps of noodles.

ok...this is a very basic college days recipe... ground beef, peas, soy sauce, rice... skillet the ground beef (salt&pepper to taste) till fully cooked, add soy sauce halfway through cooking to add flavor...you can take away some of the fat/grease/oil from pan if you wish...add drained peas from can or microwave if frozen and add to the meat...stir it up, serve it up on a bed of rice... simple and fairly cheap but Tasty.!.

Southwestern Bake Cook Time: 40 Minutes Ready In: 1 Hour Yields: 9 servings "This southwestern dish is great for parties or if you have a large family. Ground beef, black beans and corn are layered with tortilla chips and Cheddar cheese, then baked." INGREDIENTS: 1 pound lean ground beef 2 cloves garlic, minced 1 onion, chopped 2 teaspoons chili powder 2 (15 ounce) cans black beans, rinsed and drained 2 (8.75 ounce) cans whole kernel corn, drained 1 (16 ounce) container sour cream 2 cups fresh salsa 5 cups crushed plain tortilla chips 3 cups shredded Cheddar cheese 1 large fresh tomato, finely chopped 3 green onions, chopped (optional) DIRECTIONS: 1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). 2. In a medium skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with the garlic and onion; drain. 3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the meat mixture, chili powder, black beans, corn, sour cream and salsa. Stir until well blended. 4. Into a 9x13 inch baking dish, spoon enough of the beef mixture to cover the bottom. Arrange half of the crushed tortilla chips on top of the meat mixture and layer with 1 cup of Cheddar cheese. Spoon another layer of the meat mixture on top of the cheese layer, cover with remaining chips and layer with 1 cup of cheese. Spread final layer of meat mixture on top and sprinkle the remaining 1 cup of cheese on top. Top with diced tomato and green onions. 5. Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes. Let cool for 10 minutes before serving. This is a full flavor dish that is a little out of the ordinary. It is a nice change of pace and hopefully you will add it to your recipes and give it a try!

I have a few ground beef recipes that I quite love to make. Since I find that I use ground beef more then any other meat around the house. I ended up picking one that I love to make around the house for me & my other half quite often. Since it's not only tasty but at the same time there is always left overs for my other half's lunch. If you end up deciding to make this dish let me know whether or not you ended up liking it. And if it's now a personal favorite dish around your house. As I know it's a personal favorite at our house! Thanks for allowing me to share! xx "Ground Beef Pizza Casserole." Ingredients are as follows: - 1 lb. of ground beef - 4 cups of pasta sauce - 1 large onion, diced - 3 - 4 tablespoons of grated parmesan cheese - 1 lf of pepperoni, divided though - 1 tablespoon of fresh minced garlic - salt & pepper to taste - 3 - 4 cups of rigatoni noodles (cooked until tender, then drained. Make sure to not over-cook your pasta though.) - 1 (4 ounce) can of sliced mushrooms, drained - 4 cups of mozzarella cheese, divided though Directions are as follows: - Firstly grease a 13x9 inch baking dish. - Then cook the ground beef in a medium to large skillet with the onions, but also the garlic, the salt & pepper until the meat is browned. Then make sure to drain the excess fat. And then mix with the Parmesan cheese. - Then stir in the 1/2 pound of pepperoni (chop or dice up this pepperoni though so you can add it to the mixture.. then leave some of the half pound of pepperoni just sliced.) Then add the mushrooms, & the pasta sauce & stir until everything is well combined. The simmer for roughly 20 - 25 minutes on top of the stove. - Then pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees F. - Then place the rigatoni pasta you had cooked on the bottom of a greased baking dish. - Then sprinkle the 2 cups of the mozzarella cheese over top of the pasta. - Then layer with the pepperoni slices evenly over top of all the cheese you had placed before hand. - Then afterwards top with the ground beef/pasta sauce mixture. - Then bake this dish uncovered for roughly 30 minutes. - Then remove this dish from the oven & then sprinkle with the remaining 2 cups of mozzarella cheese. - Then return to the oven & bake for 10 minutes longer, or at least until bubbly. - Then let the casserole stand for 10-15 minutes just before deciding to serve.
