Okay I understand that its their job, and in order to get their commission and earn a living they need to make sales, BUT why do they call at dinner time when everyone is rushed off their feet? Obviously people are going to be annioyed, busy or even rude. When do you think is an appropriate and convenient time for telemarketers to call to deliver their sales pitch?

But as I asked, at what time do you think would be convenient and acceptable for them to call, after all they are just trying to make a living like you or I? Or do you maintain that the entire system of telemarketing should be abolished? If so, why?

I think that after 7 but before 8.30 would be more acceptable. Maybe the hour 7.30 til 8.30 as most people are home, have had dinner, and haven't put the kids to bed yet.

I know whatcha mean, I don't think they know the time some people sit down to have dinners. They probably should know that part.
