about how I should raise my children, how to cook, how to clean how to do everything. My husband says I should just humor her ,she means well, but it is driving me crazy. It's like she is attacking me every chance she gets....Please help me before I tell this woman off and hurt her and my husband.

Husbands are blind when it comes to their mothers.Mother in laws tend to be aggrivating. But you should let her know that she raised her children and you're going to raise your's.When she keeps trying to tell you how to do everything simply tell her that you don't like it.Then if she continues then go off on her.Sometimes nice doesn't help.Hubby will get over it.I'm sure he wouldn't like it if your mom or dad stayed on his case.

My mother-in-law is now my ex mother-in-law, and even after she became my ex. she still tried to tell me what to do! It is hard to put up with as you are in a spot where if you upset her, you upset your hubby as well! I in the end have learnt to switch off now but our contact in not much these days! I would not have minded if she would only have something nice to say!

I have a wonderful ex-mother in law. I used to get along better with her than my own mother. I am so grateful for her. However once in a while she would do or say something that bothered me. Who doesn't? Everyone has something that bothers someone else. I think I would just try to find creative ways to tell her how you feel. Creative sarcasm can go a long way. You want to wake her up, not hurt her.
