Tell me what all of you think. Does depression physically hurt? If so, in what way? Have you ever been so depressed you hurt? Do you think it's all in the persons imagination? I can tell you from experience I know it does. But I just want to hear all your feedback on this subject.

Yes, depression can physically hurt and it can make you physically sick or worsen a conditon that may already exist. Don't let it consume your life, seek reliable, professional help. Don't just go to a general practitioner and recieve a anti-depressent, go to a head doc, a shrink, whatever you prefer to call them. Fix the problem not just the symptoms or they will return. Don't live in darkness. I could write a book about living in the dark rooms of depression manor.....but I won't.

I go to a pdoc and a analyst. They help some but the depression is always there for me.

I'm bipolar so I know what you mean. When I'm depressed I feel physically bad. Hang in there it will get better. Do you know what's depressing you?
