Friendster: The benefit and the misuse

If somebody asks me what do you think of Friendster? I'll definitely reply that friendster is the place or the medium for friends or people to gather or get a long, especially to those who are apart or have been long time no see. But nowadays, the percentage of misuse of friendster getting higher whereas in fact the members give fake data, and have no real goal to join in it. So my conclusion is the definition of friendster depends on the ones who use it.

in all sites, there are always people who are untrue when it comes to their profiles. however, i use friendster even for the fact that i am aware of the fake people in it. what i do is i only get connected with the people i know. my friends, my relatives and my long lost friends. through this, i am able to manage everything.. only getting connected to people who i know are true.
