Why is reservation opposed?

WHY?Even in the US there is Affirmative Action and it is widely accpeted.So here when we have graver social problem why is that reservation opposed.That too NRI Quota and Management Quota are not opposed.Why?I'm not hinting at any communal or casteist conspiracy but it sounds irresponsible from both sides of the case : The ones who're imposing it and the ones who r opposing it.

Reservation is not nessecery as it promotes Get-the-undserved also the one fit will be proved unfit by this
