Yes, I have used a CPAP for over five years. It has helped me immensely. Sometimes it takes some getting used to, but it is worth it. I feel so much better since I started using a CPAP and my quality of sleep is much better. I feel rested when I wake up the next day after using it.

I recall doing that a time or two when I first got mine. I think I am going to have to get a new one. Mine has started making a noise. Only problem is I have no idea how I am going to get another one because I moved to Nicaragua a couple of years ago and I don't know if they have any here or not.

CPAP stands for Controlled Positive Air Pressure and it is used for people with the sleep disorder called Sleep Apnea.

I was just diagnosed and will be getting mine soon from a nearby medical supply company. Your doctor or pharmacy should be able to tell you where to look.
