Lost Family in Germany

Have you or do you suspect that you have relatives in Germany ? Did your father or maybe an uncle who was stationed in Germany with the military leave behind children ? If so, have you ever thought about or tried to locate them ? It has been told to me many times over the years that my father left behind two children in Germany when he was stationed there in the 1960's. I have ask my father about this on several occasions but have never been able to get anything out of him about the subject, he is a stubborn man who keeps his business close. I have often wondered how I might locate these two relatives with very little information. Has anyone else tried to locate people with simular cercumstances and if so, how did you do it, what steps did you take ?
