Why is the grass always greener on the other side?

i don't always see the grass on the other side greener, i must be abnormal, hehe. i just happen to value the small blessings i get and i am thankful of them. maybe it's easier for me to appreciate coz i once hit rock-bottom, and a lil bit of betterment in everything just gives me joy :)

Just human nature I guess and when looking at the other side of the fence we are on the outside, sometimes we don't really know how it is, it look greener but in many times what we have is better..

I think it is basic nature of humans to be selfish and are greedy. Or, not happy in their lives, so they desire someone elses joys.

Yes, that always happens with me too! I always think that the grass is always greener on the other side. But that's not always the truth! Sometimes the things are much darker for the other people than us. Maybe we dont realise the "colour" of the grass we hold in our hands is much greener than others!
