Trying to get back into church...

My wife and I moved away from our hometown to go to college. While in my hometown, the Southern Baptist church I attended is pretty much run by my family. My grandfather is the pastor, my parents run the music, my sister and brother in law attend and teach classes, 2 uncles about 4 aunts and 9 cousins all attend there. As you can tell I have a large family. Anyways, like most people, I moved off to college and became my own person. Not a shadow of my family or my parents and I did my own thing. We occasionally attend sunday morning services at various SB churches in the area but nothing serious. Just going to say we went. Lately, I've been doing alot of thinking and talking with my wife (and God) and we're wanting to get back into church. Its difficult to do because of the way i've acted and the vocabulary most people at my university are used to hearing from me. I know what i've done and said were wrong and i've asked forgiveness for it. i don't know where i was going with this disscusion. time to end it.
