even if they are extinct or endangered species, if for and event they trespass our homes and do inflict some fear to the people inside living. will you kill it for protection? and defend yourself? or you will have the maximum tolerance of not hurting and running away from it to save its existence even if its there out of control... what will you do..

First of all, extinct animals are very unlikely to ever become a threat again. Second, the best strategy when dealing with a dangerous wild animal is to run away. This has nothing to do with preserving life, but rather with the fact that most wild animals have a huge advantage in a fight against an unarmed human.

Yes defend youself and your property from them. If they are out of control and there is no other way to get rid of them. You have to do something about it if help is available to rid youself of the danger.
