Has anyone vacationed to Peru?

Im considering it but I was wondering if anyone else had. Where did you go? What all is their to do there? Did you fly? Where did you stay?

I'v been and it was amazing. Wealthier than Brazil, but more friendly and a little spanish goes a long way. I went to Lima, Puerto Maldonado in the Amazon which was awesome for animals, Cusco (very touristy). I did the 4 day Inca Trail to Machu Picchu. The trail was OMG hard, but worth the effort and it makes MP all the more impressive. Also went to Puno and Lake Titicaca (floating reed islands are cool). If there's time stop off at La Paz on the way home - another cool place. Any questions please ask. I love Peru!
