Well dont know exactly how many people does depend on welfare payments to survive but I just know that I dont.

I used to be in that situation when my son was young and I was on my own. Its harder here in the US to get any help. Many people abused the system and now they have strict rules. The only problem with that is sometimes its hard to get help if you really need it.
