How many of you enjoy James Pattersons novels. My family are just about addicted to them and they get passed around wholesale. I cannot say I am keen, as I find them a bit to violent.

James Patterson - James Patterson
james patterson is the man. just finished judge and jury last week and loved it. reading his books in order makes it easier to understand some of his references because they usually carry from book to book, but you don't have to read them in order. haven't read the others, but i'm working on first to die right now and i'm loving it.

I've read some of his books with the Alex Cross character. I've really enjoyed those and need to find more of the series to read. Just haven't had a chance lately. I'd like to try some of his other series to see how the writing is for those, if he's any good with other characters. I will admit some of the books could be a bit graphic and I wouldn't recommend them for young children but i enjoyed them.
