Why do some people think they have to ask strange around christians?

I was a preachers child while growing up and most of the people around me thought that they had to act a certain way with me. Like if they said a curse word they would appolagize for it. Maybe it is respect, or maybe its fear. I really don't know. I think of myself as a normal person.

I don't know. I don't remember being overly concerned about it myself. Most of the time the preacher's children were into as much as the rest of us. lol

i think it is respect. i know for me if im around someone, and i kinow they dont like something i will try not to do it around them. its just common curteousy...
