Each year, millions of dollars are spent on various gifts for the holidays. Do you have any suggestions on ways to save money when considering gifts during Christmas? Please share any tips that you have here....

Instead of buying gifts and gift cards for our friends this year, I am baking homemade goodies to give them this year. Just an assortment of cookies and little cakes, and I'm putting them in little decorative tins you can get at the dollar store. It's an inexpensive way to share during the holidays.

making your own gifts saves money. Like making your own recipe books. I have actually done this print out recipes from your printer from your computer and put them in a photo album.
