When was the last time you donate blood for noble cause?

I haven't ever donated blood, but I have tried to do my part to help people. Even though I'm not the type to go under the needle, I have given what I can, my time and energy, to help organize blood drives in my community. This seems to me like a great way to help out even if you are scared of needles. By lending your time and energy, you can make a difference without having to feel queasy or scared!
