Virtual Worlds and You

Are you a member of a virtual world, or are you asking what one is? I have lived as DreamWeaver in a vitual world called There, for four years as of April 2007. It is a 3D virtual community, and is PG13, so you can bring your kids as well as youself into this world. This world has changed my life for the better. I was a Beta tester for this community, and have met some truly creative and sensational people, both in real life and at the real life gatherings (real life events). I have seen people joined together in marriage and romance because of their associations in the "game". Some of these relationships work out, while others fail. We are kind of a cartoony looking avatar (virtual person), where some games are more realistic. HOwever, our avies are quite stunning. In our virtual reality world, we can become just about anything our hearts desire. I for one, design clothing, and am quite well known for my designs. I created a goal for myself in There, and I accomplished it. The virtual worlds of today create an atmosphere that anyone can play in. People with disabilities and illnesses will find a great deal of support--this gives them satisfaction, and a new way of dealing with life. Being in a virtual world eliminates any color, race, or age boundaries if you do not want them to be known. We have gotten to know one another for what is inside our hearts. In this online virtual community, we can race buggies, fly on a hoverpack, hoverboat, or a hoverboard. We can build virutal content of all kinds. The imagination is put into action, and it has been interesting and exciting to see the world grow. I could go on and on about virtual worlds. If you have a chance to visit one, do so. It can change your life. I forgot to mention--you don't have to die in this, and some other virtual worlds...we just tumble down mountainsides, get run over by buggies, and survive, just to have a good laugh afterward.
