What's the most money you've ever made in one shot...

Can I include my husband because we made the money between us? We sold our house last year because it was too big for us, and we got over half a million euros for it. We then bought a smaller house, so that left us with quite a few bob. However, we almost didn't make any money, because my solicitor aske me if I would like her to send the cheque and I told her not to, as it was too risky. I called to collect the check and went to lodge it into the bank, but I stopped at the shops en route. When I eventually arrived at the bank, I went to my bag to present the cheque, only to realise I had lost it. Mad panic set in. Now I had no cheque and no house. Within minutes, my phone rang. It was my solicitor to tell me that I had lost the cheque. She informed me that a very honest person had found it in the supermarket car park and had brought it around to her office. Needless to say, that very honest person got a very substantial reward. Just thought I would add that useless piece of information.

The most that I received from selling something was $100 for selling my artwork on a large posterboard. I have sold quite a few pieces of my artwork but for smaller amounts than that one.
