Is it possible to be a scientist and a Christian?

i watched a tv show late this evening and i saw a similar discussion between a priest and a paranormal scientist.What do you think this can led to?

Probably a good relationships. The scientist is studying the paranormal and priests have been known to practise exorcisms. Hopefully they have a lot in common, if they can work together.

I think that religion and science can easily go hand in hand. I'm Christian myself, but a firm believer in science. The way I see it is like this: God created a lot of mysteries when he created the universe. Science is the tool god gave us to solve those mysteries.
