Ok, those who DO beleive in God, why do you beleive in him? Was it because you where told to? and those who DON'T beleive in God, why don't you and when did you decide not to? (i'm not saying i don't beleive in God. I'm just wondering on other people belief)..

I believe in a higher power. I wasn't raised in any particular faith and my parents didn't teach me any one religion or anything. I just did a lot of soul searching and reading of various religious texts and beliefs and came to my own conclusions based on what felt right to me. I identify as Christian Scientist, but I'm not particularly devout. I don't believe Jesus was the son of god, but I believe he was a holy man. I don't believe in heaven or hell, I believe in reincarnation. I believe that god guides the events of the worlds to an extent, but allows mankind freewill. I believe the lessons in the New Testament of the Bible are wonderful lessons and a good way to live one's life. For me, it's just what feels right and makes the most sense to me. I could very well be wrong about my beleifs, but I won't find out until the end.
