i'm tring to download a new program, but before i cn i have to uninstall mcafee. it tells me there are missing componants

may u dont have the complete files..download the software again

You can disable it from the setting option instead of uninstall it cause sometime antivirus will prevent any program that seem not in their databased to download or install as for protection of unknown reason.

Though more details would have been better, I guess if you McAfee is working properly then do not download the program you intend to download.
