I believe they are unsafe but only to 1 in 100-500 children. They have all sorts of terrible side effects and can even cause death. Some researchers believe immunization is directly related to autism, but of course there is no proof to this. The government and the drug companies would never allow such proof to come to light. They would not only lose money by people not buying the immunizations but they would have thousands of lawsuits. I think the drug companies are willing to risk as many lives as it takes to make sure they get paid. Don't get me wrong, immunizations definately have helped our country to over come many diseases. But if you knew there was a 1 in a 160 chance that your child could be affected adversely from immunizations would you still do it? It's like you can't win for losing.

I actually just posted something about this myself... only mine directs more towards children and getting vaccinated. I think adults make their own decisions about their bodies, but it is so unfair to the children who cannot make the choices themselves. There are very few well known sites that give a lot of information on the negative risks associated with getting vaccines, but I do know that I choose to not vaccinate my son. I think too many parents are uneducated about this topic, and it should be more widely known. There is no direct proof even that the vaccines really help all that much. There have been very few outbreaks over the past 20 years, part of that from the vaccines themselves, yes, but also because those diseases were dying out. People survived them then, why wouldn't they be able to survive them now? The only cases we have even had in the past twenty years have all been from those who were vaccinated - so why should we keep giving the disease out when it is practically unheard of now? I guess I should not tell someone one way or another how to live their lives, or what to do with their children, however, I do hope that anyone who takes the time to read this will read up on it and possible educate themselves a little more before making the choice to vaccinate.
