LIST TIME! Simple Joys...

I'm stealing this from something CBC (The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation) did on the radio MANY moons ago... it was started by the late Peter Gzowski on a show called Morningside... List SIMPLE pleasures... SMALL joys... As an example... #1: Being the first person at a bus stop to notice the bus is coming. #2: Getting your favourite seat at a restaurant, movie theatre, or even on a bus without extra effort. #3: Finding a few dollars in large loose change in an old jacket. So, keep this puppy going! Got any others?

My simple joys are: Waking up alive ... :) Walking my dogs Playing with the kids Eating a nice meal Spending time with my loved ones I'm a pretty simple person.

Lessee... "Waking up alive" - Uh, I know you... and I've seen you on MOST mornings... and you ain't experiencing joy... so no. "Walking my dogs" - Yeah, that's a good one. "Playing with the kids" - I'd qualify this as a BIG joy, so not applicable to this list. "Eating a nice meal" - Yup. Perfect. "Spending time with my loved ones" - I'd go "big joy" again... I'm really looking for, "Finding your favourite flavour of gum in a store when you thought the company didn't make it anymore."
