Vatican city, is the worlds smallest country at 0.44 sq. km. It is an urban enclave, with a population estimated at 911, completely encircled by Rome. It has own bank ang coinage, border controls, stamps, telephone system, civil and crmiinal codes, newspaper, website and television and radio stations which broadcast around the world. It is ruled by the Pope, who is elected for life by the Sacred College of Cardinals, whose voting members must be under the age of 80.
