try makes a jokes, or quiz, or make a game. i once become an english conversation moderator, and i have a game simple; provide a candy, and ask the 1st person to ask question bout last lesson in class, and give the candy to the person who ask a question and receive no answer or you can try to mock some students, but in no harm way, as a joke..it give me great help that time. g'luck!

Java Class - Java is required for all.
May be your students are not studying at home. "Focus on individuals and make them experts"(which you're doing. right?). Or it may also be that your students don't like you and are unable to understand you. Or it may be, they know you're a good teacher, but they don't understand what you are explaining them. May be they fear, that they may not answer your answer your question and will be insulted. Reasons are many, but solution is one. "Trial and Error". Try some solutions and you'll know the best. Solution: While you ask about your course, read their mind if they want to tell something. If they want anything to tell, then give them some hints about your course. I'm sure they will surely speak a single word first. When they speak a single word, then again provide them another hint. Now, they may answer you perfectly.
