When I first started working at Wal*Mart. They were hard on associates. However it was because they cared about how the stores looked. They cared about the associates and the customers. Now thing are changing. They may have benefits. You pay a high price for them. No-one will answer 1 question for associates. How much do associates put back into the company? No one will answer that question. Why is that? Are they afraid someone will find out that technicaly associates are paying a percentage of their own pay. Now about customers. They are taking away Lay away from the families who truly need this option. What is wrong with this picture. Target is trying to be like Wal-Mart. And well Wal-mart all of a sudden has an identity loss. Why change what isn't broken. Well that would be all that I can say about wal-mart. That they are not as great to their associates as they let on. Nor do they care as much about the customers anymore.

I worked at walmart for 2 years,And it sucked so bad, always understaffed, customers complaining all the time, the managers themselfs hung out in there offices, and werent out on the floor. They treated there employees like crap, walmart led themselfs as a family place, but when it came to push and shove they wanted you to be there, regardless. If you had a family probelm or not, I was working in cosmetics, which I loved, then the manager came to me and said you need to go be a door greeter, till I can find someone to cover for you,I'm like ok, well 5:30 pm came around was to go too my supper, asked the front line people to find someone to replace me at the door, there reply was sorry can't find anyone so tuff. They kept me from my supper break which is a hour, but on the weekdays I only worked till 9:00 pm, it was already 6:30 then, well needless to say I walked out and never been back And that was 2 years ago.. Dont regret anything!!by law I should f sued them, but my bad, was just glad I was done with them.
