Children behaving badly...

I saw an article in the paper talking about how children are increasingly behaving poorly in public places, particularly restaurants. Restaurant owners and patrons argued that the children were running around and screaming unsupervised and were creating both safety issues as well as being just plain irritating. This view was met with opposition from parents saying that "kids will be kids" and it is unfair to "segregate" them into "family" rooms or ask them to talk with "inside voices". Most people in the interviewed, agreed that the behavior described in the article was real and out of control. Most people there supported separate "family" rooms in restaurants. I thought this was an interesting topic, what are your thoughts???
