Yes I learnt Religious Education at school and so did my children and I don't have a problem with it, I think it should be part of the Curriculum.

There is nothing wrong with people in schools being taught about God and Religious freedoms. But the problem is unless you attend a Christian school in most places in the US, it is not allowed to talk about Religion, or Reading the Bible, Praying in schools, etc. It is discouraged. So unless children have friends who go to Sunday School and they go with them, they grow up never learning about God and who he is.

I think it is happening everyday. as in my own discussion. I think that Evolution theory is a form a religion, by those who believe in that theory. So I think kids are being taught religious Education. But I think that they should get all views of it, if they teach any religion. There should be selected courses people can take. Or just stick with Science, and just keep to the proven facts, and not things that are believed to be true. I than would say I did learn religous education at school. And I would have to allow my children to when/if I have any for thats taught everywhere. And theres history classes that teach about all the religions in my school, so kids know others religions, and wont be so different towards them. Like muslims, jews, hindus, and christians arent all segregating eachother, and know something about the others religion and how it started.

I would allow it but I would also supervise at home. Yes when I went to school we prayed at ballgames, we said the alligence to the flag and we were punished when we did wrong. Today the kids know they can get by wih anything. When you take God out of school you create big problems.
