OK, I see this all the time - It's a scam!!! I just don't understand why we have to call everything a scam lately. Websters dictionary says a scam is a fraudulent or deceptive act or operation. And to scam someone is to to obtain (as money) by a scam. So, if you aren't paying for something how can you get scammed if they don't live up to their end of the deal? You're just involved in a fraud. We are so big on this "scam" word lately that anything that we don't like or believe or doesn't work out for us is a "scam". Now there are a lot of them out there, they will take your money and make it virtually impossible to recoup it. Unfortunately, those operations make it very difficult for legitimate operations to succeed also. Good Luck all!!!

I agree completely. People are to afraid to try something that might make them some money when it's free. It doesn't cost you a dime so if it doesn't work your not out anything but your time. I have found a site that list the people or company's that are trying to get you to do things that are scams. I had a couple of offers to collect checks and send them by wire and I got to keep 10% of the money. Sounded to fishy so I checked them out. They came up under a scam page that listed hundreds of people or job offers that weren't legit.

OK, but if they aren't taking your money (the FREE websites that people are joining) how can it be a scam? Now, if you give them money and they don't hold up to their end of the bargain, THEN it's a scam. But how can something that's FREE be a scam? It's just one of the new annoying buzzwords lately.
