do the snakes frighten you?

i didn't see a wild snake, i only saw them in cages, so i don't like them but i'm not scared... maybe i would be if i saw one of them out of a cage :)

very much. It really frightens me. I have a lot of experience with snake during my childhood. Our dog had save me many times from cobras when i was a little child. Until now it's still frightens me. I hate it too.

Snakes do frighten me.

ALL snakes frighten me. They are unpredictable and I am terrified of them, all of them. I do like to look at them at the pet store, like at PetSmart or at the zoo or on a tv special. They are beautiful and fascinating, however I am petrified of being around one up close and personal!!

I'm love the snake...In an Australian small farm they have made to take me 2 pitons … and all around me have been bundled up!!!

yikes!!! pls i hate snakes!!!!!!!!! they are soooooooooo damn slimy and really eirie... i have seen pictures of pythons and anacondas swallowing humans as whole and stuff and i used to get nightmares daily

No, is my answer. I am not afraid of snakes. I don't even hate them.They are also part and parcel of the nature and they have their own world to live in.They also paly a major role in the eco system, as they prey on rodents like rats, mice etc which are rsponsible for causing much damage to the crops grown by human beings and to the precious things stored by human beings. Fearing the snakes is an aquired emotion. Hve you seen infant fearing of snake? No, because he has not made any set notions about them. We are taught right from our childhood that snakes are dangerous and we are not even permitted to have closed look at them when we encounter with them in nature when we are kids. That unknowingly create a hidden phobia in the minds as achild, and we start fearing the snakes for ni reason ! Yes ! snakes are poisonous ! but what is the ratio of poisonous snakes to non poisonous ? In India out of hundreds of species of snakes we have only four species which are poisonous and remainig all are non - poisonous. Poison possed by these snakes is not at all meant to kill bigger animals like human beings or other Domestic animals! Basically they use this poisonto kill their prey before they can be eaten ! As snakes don't have any limbs they can't hold their prey with the type ans size of their body and the nature has blessed them with poison either to stun or to kill their prey. Snakes normally shy away from human population. Its the Human being who is encroaching their territory and he is paying for it, and the poor creatures are blamed for no fault of theirs! I like snakes and treat them like any other animals and try my level best to save them . I teach people how they are helpful to us and convince them why we shouldn't kill anny snake the moment we locate one in nature !
