christmas with divorced parents

December 16, 2006 11:18am CST
Does anyone else have a problem at christmas, when it comes to which parent to spend it with. Ive always had one christmas with one parent on xmas day and the other on boxing day. ive never had a problem with it. Although my parents have not been together for 8 years. Ive learnt to appreciate that at least they are still alive and well. But my mum and sister disagree. They say its not the same, which i understand. But i think they should be grateful to have two christmas let alone one. Christmas is family time, whether there're together or not. any views welcome please.

I never had to go throught htis but many of my friends have and they have different solutions. one spends every other year with one parent, the other one does it your way, and the other one takes both in the same day. then i have another one where they actually still spend x-mas together - all of them!
