Death penalty

Do you believe that the death penalty should be in place and in use in society or is it a cruel and unusual punishment?
I'm generally against death penalty because it is illogical to condemn a murder and then do the same as an act of revenge- what you do is you commit a murder as well, the only difference being that you do it legally.

I tend to agree with your comment and we are no better to do the same as the criminals do. If put inthe situation of someone mudered mt child I can't say I wouldn't want someone to die though. Tough question.
