How to lead a systematic life?

I have so many sufferings in my life rather than happiness,i am not at all confident to make a decision of my own.Some of my friends said that it is because of not planning properly,i also think so. So please help me how to lead a systematic life?I hope those who r their in this community have a helping mentality,dont discourage me..........
