Probably the type of question normally asked by an eager fourteen year old. I am not a scientist altho' I have an interest in science. Will it be possible,in the near future,to give a physical description of a particle, such as the electron, in relatively simple words or is it only possible to give an adequate description of the "appearance" and behaviour of this type of object in mathematical terms? I understand that the electron can be seen as a wave or point particle with no internal structure.
