X-MAS Gift Buying, what to get the girlfriend?

The oly advise I can give is make it meaningful. Whatever it is, make sure it has some significance to her. That's always the best way to go, at least in my experience and opinion. Get her a book on a subject she likes and write a personalized message on the inside cover, or something like that. Like my girlfriend got me a really sweet and personal gift. I had a favorite show when I was young, and it was really obscure, but she found it on DVD for me and included a little card with sketches of the main characters. It was just a nice little gift that let me know she cares and pays attention to the little details.
