Are there any real good paying internships?

I am a broadcast journalism college student, and i love the University, but the only problem im having is that most of the internships they list/provide, either are not in my field of study, or dont pay. I know an internship is supposed to be a learning experience, but i want that experience to financially benefit me as well. I would like to see at least one or two paying internships sometimes at the University.Do you think this is the wrong type of attitude to have? What should i do? Please respond.
