My two year old son want even go near the potty. he won't sit on it stand by it, I am at a loss. I hope someone will have a good response to this I would love to find out a way to help him. It's like he ahs no interest in using it at all. I let him watch dad go ya know try to show him how it's done but he just won't go. maybe little boys need more time.

I have my husband do that too. He started having my son watch him pee when he was just a baby. Now all my husband has to say is "dada's gotta go peepee" and my son says "okay" and he's off heading towards the bathroom. lol Your son sounds like he may not be ready yet. I know there are clear signs such as pulling off there diaper and taking off there clothes. Another sure fire sign is them having a dry diaper after nap time. That means there little bladder is able to hold it now. Other than that I'm hoping his new potty goes over smoothly. Good luck.:)

I have heard of the Cheerio method for boys. Ya know having them hit them as a target!? LOL And giving them m&ms if they go #2! Sounds like something I might try.
