Is there anyone else out there that has concerns about Concerta being used in children under the age of 10. While researching I have come to find out that Concerta is just a form of Ritalin. My son has been diagnosed with Fatty Liver Disease at the age of 11 and I have to wonder if it's not caused by all the medications that he has been put on for ADHD and BiPolar disorder. Anyone else have thoughts about the effects of Concerta being used in young children, and its effects.

Try behavioural learning first and persevere. too many people are writing their children off. Plus look for bad behaviour, handling from parents.

I have tried behavior learning and now that he's off of all the medication we still have our bad days and he is not able to concentrate well but some of that could be just the age of 11 pre-puberty. My biggest worry is that some of these medications that he was on has caused his fibrosis of the liver. His liver is still functioning but who knows if it could fail or not. Just another day of saga around here.
