Any Deadwood Watchers?

I LOVE Deadwood! I really hate that HBO and other networks will end excellent storylines and yet keep shows like friends on for 10 years. This show is original and exciting, it takes awhile for people to talk about a show and get their friends to watch it and see how good it really is and then when many many people love it they end it! I am to the point that I allmost hate to find a show worth wathching because it won't last long!

From what I read on the net the real life Deadwood town burnt down during the beginning of the fourth year, so in keeping with reality the series had to end after the 3rd season.

I'm upset they ended it too and especially HOW they ended it. I don't think season 3 ended very well. Any idea on when the movies are coming out?

Deadwood is one of my favorite television series of all time, and its coming to a close at the end of its third season was just one more in the list of blows HBO has given me. With the end of Carnivale, I was unsettled, with Deadwood, saddened, and with Rome, perplexed as to where the network plans to take its plethora of talent if not further into these unique and compelling stories.

Does anyone know when the Season 3 DVD's will be released?

I've watched all of seasons 1 and 2, but I'm waiting for the 3rd season to come out on DVD. We don't have cable, so we have to watch each season as it comes out on DVD. It's nice, though, because we don't have to wait from week to week to see what will happen next! :) I am anxiously awaiting the movies too.
