Secret Santa

Through out the years we've seen random acts of kindness around christmas time which can either be refered to as just a random act of kindness, or a visit from a Secret Santa. Either way I'm calling it Secret Santa. Who have you been kind and giving to this year? Have you shocked anyone with a suprise... only to leave them hanging as to who gave them this wonderful holiday miracle? Or maybe it was a subscription to their favorite website? Technically these shouldn't be discussed as they are secret (sshhh), but who's going to find out from mylot.com? Honestly now. Don't have a story to share? Share a suggestion, or someone elses story you heard. Give ideas for those lurkers looking for a way to suprise their hunny, or their neighbour who is down on his luck this year. This christmas I've donated monthly subscriptions to random people on DeviantArt.com - those that have had trials or hoped they'd have one, one day. I also plan on buying prints from wishlists for a couple people. You have the floor.

I've always liked the idea. The problem is always in trying to maintain the anonymity. Once the anonymity is gone the plan basically fails to the point where the recipient probably won't accept it either. I seem to recall a similar problem only just recently... but that's past history now.

Similar problems in the past? Nooo never. ^^0 It would be great help if sites such as DA or others allowed it to be kept secret, but it just doesn't seem to work. I actually thought you could do that on there but apparently not. There's other things to do though I think ^^0 Just don't ask me what.
