Will value investing work in Indian stock market?

Two days back, I was interviewed by a company. There the interviewer asked me one question which is the matter of serious concern.. He said me "Will value investing works India?" I personnally feel that value investing will definitely work in India. Not only in India, it works in any investment in the world. Wht is ur say on it?
