Well there's nothing wrong with cricket being included in the olympics. The only problem is some countries don't play cricket. Example the Philippines.

i don't think that cricket will be in olympics .if at all it is taken in olympics they may accept only one day matches.

Football, boxing, basketball, and many other sports are included in the Olympics...and all of them retain "identities of their own". The fact that they make up the Olympics for a mere two weeks every four years has no bad effect at all on them, it only puts them in a huge world-wide spotlight of publicity. and allows people who are unfamiliar with a particular sport to watch and appreciate it. And even if cricket were to be in the Olympics, it would have to be a limited overs tournament beceause it would be physically impossible to schedule so many test matches in only two weeks. And besides, cricket was already once an Olympic sport..Paris 1900, Great Britain beat France

i dont like cricket, and i think that if rugby doesnt play in the olympics then cricket cannot be played...

if it is included i think there is some chance for india to get atleast one medal in olympics.i heard that discussions are going on to include cricket in the olympics.but how far it will work out can be had only in the next olympics.

PErsonally i dont like cricket .. im only interested in football .. though i dont see a reason why cricket shouldnt be played in the olympics.. But the indian team looks a bit beat up now . Why would You want cricket to be played in the olympics ??

Cricket was there in Commonwelth games a few years ago, if it has to be included in Olympics it shoul be in 20-20 form as it is short and more exciting.

I would love to see cricket there, but its played in far too less countries, also the match duration simply goes against it, i think 20-20 can be a better option for olympics and commonwelth, and it will be a great treat to watch in that context

I think it should be good If all sports will be play in Olympics . More gold medals , then The game will have more exciting . Isn't is ? Such as Sepak-trakraw that be played on asian - Games Doha 2006
