I think he is indeed the best actor in the industry today. The quality of films made by him itself is a testimonial for nominating him as a Best Actor.

People say Aamir is Tom Hanks of India.I say Tom Hanks is Aamir of US.Aamir is the only genuine,serious and dedicated actorin the Indian film industry other than Hrithik Roshan.His every movie is always so keenly awaited by all and always proves what a great actor he is.Every movie of his is different from other and is always remembered for years.
He has done all kind of roles in his career,be it Tapori in Rngeela n ghulam or ACP Rathore in Sarfarosh,an urban youth in DCH,gaon ka Bhuwan in Lagaan,a taxi driver in Raja Hindustani,a college student in Jo Jeeta Wahi Sikandar or RDB & who can 4get his role in Andaaz Apna Apna which i thing is the best comedy movie in Indian film industry till date.He has done it all and he doesnt need to prove it to any critic.
If SRK is King Khan he is the ACE KHAN!!!

man you got it spot on by calling aamir khan the ACE KHAN.
he is indeed an actor of international class and we don't need to compare him with wny other actor in the world.
he doesnt need to follow on the footsteps of any other actor(a la SRK) to prove his greatness.
i think its high time people start giving him the accolades he deserves and install him as the king khan!!!

Well he is the best, i like his perfection and very choosy in making the best roles and best movies. I like his 3 idiots and fanaa recently

its aamir khan!!........always.may be shahrukh khan is top star but aamir is a supersatr as well as an actor.Shah rukh called himself as king khan.aamir is ace khan.
i like all films of aamir khan except mann.it s a bsd movie .all other films of aamir. and favourite one is....no two is Rang De Basanti and Dil Chahtha Hai. He is superb in both.
two of his films went to oscar nomination also aamir-arrahman combo is a super hit.Their next film is maniratnam's Lajjo.First time a perfect director directs the mr. perfect with perfect composer...wahat a vombination...i am sure it ll b a super duper hit.he is the only one from bollywood who want perfect thats why all called him MR PERFECT!!!
