I ever read articles that revealed that adult people should decrease their sleeping duration in daily if they want to live longer. For me it make sense, but how about you?

I consider that if you are sleeping 8 hours a day you are only awake two thirds of your life therefore if you only sleep 4 hours a day you are awake for many more years.

i thought so too..until i've read somewhere that we tend to gain weight when we sleep less than 7 hours a day...and that was what i was doing all these while...sleeping less than 7 hours a day.

hmmm.. I don't know. The only thing I'm sure is that young people do need to sleep a lot, so they can think well during the day of work/study/...
