With your spouse or significant other, who has the upper hand?

Who has a more dominant personality? You or your spouse/significant other?
In our house, my husband always wants things done his way. It doesn't always happen that way, and sometimes he gets upset about it.

My hubby definitely has the more dominant personality. However, he seems to want to stay married to me so over time has backed off tremendously. I couldn't have stood being married to him if he hadn't. What I would like to know is if there are couples with one person not being dominant. It seems like everyone I know has a definitely alpha in the couple.

As far as I know usually someone is dominant.
Though with my first husband no one wanted to be ... or so it seemed.
